This one isn't as weak as the last one, but it was very dull, with no adventure to it - at least not until everyone gets bashed with a rake at the end
. What a non-event. Lots of filler of tedious detail, and the book jacket is wildly inaccurate - no scandalous use of non-organic or hazardous materials in the murdered woman's dyeing process.
Disappointing, because as a needleworker, I really enjoyed the setting and 'shop talk' of the characters. Unfortunately I think I'm going to be skipping future installments, as there are many more cozy series I'd like to explore, and life is just too short to waste time reading bad books!
