Seeford's Spot

Reader, not a writer, and like to keep it that way - I'd rather be reading!
Ladybug Girl - David Soman, Jacky Davis Enjoyed reading this one with my oldest, who is now 5, but really looking forward to reading it with my youngest, when she's a bit older. There's almost 4 years between the two, so I think we'll be seeing some of this situation in our house.
It communicates some excellent messages to kids: spunky adventurous girl who isn't afraid of outside-type play (or sharks = ), every girl can be a superhero!, and that the difference between being 'bored' and having fun is all in your attitude.
I also like the message to younger siblings that when older sibs or mom & dad don't play with you, they should get out there and make their own fun, all by themselves.
